A lot of people encounter problems in pronouncing his first name correctly.

The correct pronunciation is mēke'lā (if you can read phonetics - if you can't you'll just have to believe me).

His name is of Italian origin and has one "L".

He edits browse.ie, armchair.ie and search.ie

Michele was shortlisted for the Irish Internet Association Net Visionary Awards 2005 under the Internet Entrepreneur category.
In 2006 he was shortlisted for both Internet Entrepreneur and Best Blogger.
He is on the Irish enum policy advisory board, where he represents the Irish Internet Association. He is actively involved in the internet / ICT industry in Ireland as well as being an actively involved with several open source projects.
He has given talks on a range of topics from email filtering, through blogging to online marketing to a number of organisations including Skynet, IIA, local enterprise boards and Investnet / First Tuesday.

He is addicted to Scrubs and has been known to play a few games online, such as Enemy Territory or Battlefield 2, although he's not particularly good at either. He recently developed a mild addiction to Travian
