Is linux good enough?

Silly title I'll admit, but somebody brought my attention to the dichotomy expressed by an Irish site today. Although they claim to support linux etc., they host their main site on Windows. Now we can all accept that for various commercial reasons people will host and develop on a variety of platforms, but surely from a philosophical standpoint their position is quite untenable?? The bulk of our servers run some flavour of Linux: RedHat 7.3 RedHat 9 OpenBSD FreeBSD Slackware 9 We do have a few Windows servers either for shared or dedicated clients, but personally I think we are all a lot more comfortable with Linux. How a company can market Linux goods and services on a windows based site is really beyond me. Unfortunately they couldn't see the irony of the situation, even though there was a flamewar over on ILUG as a result...
