Sendmail milters - not so open source anymore

| | Comments (4)
A couple of months ago I mentioned sendmail milters. Snert are no longer offering all of them under an open source license unfortunately. In some ways I can understand why they are doing it. Even programmers have to eat :) - however it is still sad to see software licenses changing like that. The milter we are using, milter-ahead, is still available as "Free Source", but milter-sender is now commercial.

I am going to give it a try next week. I want to read the docs tonite to get a gameplan in my head.

So far it looks like a capable replacement for milter-sender, but it won't help with my search for a replacement for milter-ahead.
