RTE to offer high-quality streaming video

RTE is to offer a high-quality video stream to broadband users in the 32 counties.
The new service is being offered in accordance with an agreement between the broadcasting authority and the GAA and will be restricted to users located in the 32 counties. In order to recognise the user's location they will be relying on a IP to location database. I imagine this may cause some issues for satellite broadband users, as their IPs will show up as not being Irish. Further information may be found on the RTE site.

I'm not 100% sure. I think it's high-quality Real media.
