Iraq gets its domains back

Iraq's new government has been authorised to manage its TLD by ICANN

The .iq ccTLD had been in limbo since 2002. Interestingly ICANN had not been in favour of handing over control to the Iraqis earlier due to their concerns about stability. Full article
