Putting it in perspective - Irish Market vs the World

It's amusing to see some people's fixation on the number of domains they hold, number of clients, number of supposedly happy clients etc., etc
Yes figures and stats are important. I'd be a hypocrite if I said otherwise. But and this is the thing, you need some level of perspective. Let's say you had 25k clients and each one was paying you one euro per annum. Should you be as proud as the company with 12.5K clients each paying 5 euro per annum? It's all quite meaningless when you put it into the global perspective. If you have a look at the chart below for the top ten UK hosting companies according to webhosting.info you may see what I mean (click for larger version): Uk Hosting market share - small image NB: The chart does not account for co.uk domains So do a couple of thousand clients more or less make any real difference?
