Localising your website to better serve specific markets makes sense, however it is something that is often overlooked by even the "big names" in e-commerce.
It was with some interest that I spotted a familiar character from my childhood when I logged onto Ebay.ie this evening.
They've brought back Judge!
If you are old enough you may remember that Judge was used to help us all learn the "safe cross code". They're now using him to teach people how to shop safely online.
I think it's a very interesting idea, though the choice of icon may limit the audience a small bit :)
