Justin posted a link to a number of very nice versions of the logo this evening
I hadn't realised that there were so many variants available for immediate use:

I have just had a great idea.
I need hosting. I wont tell you what type, that is for you to guess. This is a great opportunity for an up and coming hosting company to gain exposure.
Your work will be seen with a great web application with loads of visitors.
So to keep it fair, I will hold a competition.
Deadline is Tuesday 31st.
The hosting company that offers the best free for life hosting account wins*.
The winner will be chosen by me and they may get their name on the web site.
*All offers are legally binding and even if you don't win you still have to supply your offer to be used by me at any time in the future.
Alan
What has that got to do with the original post???
Michele (who is very confused)
Sorry, late night and lack of sleep.
Seen "Design competition" and my rant button got turned on. Not directed at you but at companies that view design competitions as a cheap source of design.
Yours was the third post in about an hour about a design comp.
Ah.. Drink more coffee :)
