Blogging From the Hilton

The blogging seminar will be starting in just over an hour and people are already starting to arrive.

The venue itself is very plush, though the cost of internet access for the day brings exorbitant to new levels

Enjoy the conference!

You're right about those wifi prices, I think hotel's are generally taking the mick - you could get a months worth of a DSL connection at home or in the office in comparison to some places for the prices they're charging!

Fact: it costs less to run your email on a Nokia 9500 over O2 GPRS than it does to pull your mail down on a laptop using the Hilton WiFi node.

The wired broadband is €90 a day!!

Damn! Thats three months worth of a home subscription for cable bb! Is it gold plated broadband by any chance?

Ken

It's very flaky DSL from what I could see with some rather "interesting" proxying
