Irish Cybersquatters?

So how many .eu domains are being squatted by Irish cybersquatters? While the nationality of a cybersquatter normally wouldn't be of that much interest, the .eu cybersquatters seem to be following some interesting patterns. The only thing is that many of them do not seem to realise how much trouble they are going to cause themselves.

The worst case is that around 80% of .eu registrations will be speculative or bad faith registrations. Even so with 20K supposed Irish .eu registrations, there is going to be a lot of squatted domains.

so where's the link ?

Well a lot of people who are squatting think that nobody has noticed. Some political parties have apparently had their equivalent .eu domain squatted as have a number of high profile politicians.

It doesn't take that much to find squatted domains ...

Congratulations on getting quoted in the Irish Times on the issue - below the fold it may be , but front page is front page!

Paul - You're making me blush :)

Thanks
