Alexa is Seo Porn
Eric Giguere's mention of Text Link Ads had me in stitches this evening. While he does actually like the system their emphasis on Alexa ranking provoked this reaction:
Alexa is the SEO equivalent of a brown-paper-wrapped pornographic magazine. Sure, you'd like to believe that what's inside is real, but you know that there's a lot of airbrushing (oops, showing my age, I mean "photoshopping") happening inside.

I like the idea behind TLA but the Alexa thing is a bit silly. Alexa in itself could definitely do with some fine tuning.
