Do EA Games Care About Customers?

| | Comments (1)
Customer service is a topic that comes up on blogs often. Unfortunately most bloggers complain about bad service instead of talking about great service, but that's probably inevitable. I don't want to sound like a whining blogger, but I am more than a little annoyed with EA Games. Challenge Everything? Maybe their customer service department is a little challenged. They supposedly answer support queries within 24 - 48 hours. I opened a ticket with them over a week ago and still haven't had any form of response. It's not like I can buy from another supplier - if you buy an EA Games title, then you obviously have to deal with them for it.

well they certainly don't seem to care about their employees, as a quick google of "ea employees" will show you... and now they seem to be introducing the idea of paying for the extras (characters, costumes, weapons etc.) for your games that you used to get by clearing the game, finding hidden areas, etc.
Penny Arcade have an interesting take on the subject (with swearing): http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/11/15
