LOOOONG Developer Key

Web services can be a really handy way of integrating various affiliate programs with your website and customising them to meet your requirements and taste. In most cases you need to get a developer key to access the services. In most cases the key is a text string of anything from 4 or 5 characters to 10. Not so with cj.com! Their developer key is a massive 260 characters!!! I'd hate to have to memorise that!

Who memorises developer keys?

People with too much time on their hands probably :)

Not that I'd ever remember a developer key but 260 characters is huge!
An 8 character string of numbers and letters has over 2.5 trillion combinations, should be plenty!

Those were my thoughts as well :)

Why anyone would need a key that long is beyond me..
