Budget 2007 Spikes Bandwidth

INEX, which is the Irish neutral exchange, increased its bandwidth capacity in advance of yesterday's budget, but the spike in traffic may have been greater than some of the ISPs were expecting.

Have a look at this week's traffic graph:

Seemingly some of the ISPs connections into the exchange were maxed out during the peak!

Thats one gem of a hint cos' the 650's looked good on my end.

I don't know a whole lot, but I gathered from some mutterings that some of the ISPs connections were incredibly busy ie. lots and lots of traffic.
It wouldn't have made a huge difference, as they would have had other routes anyway
