Travolta In Hollywood
Since I'm now able to get photos from my camera to my computer I'll be uploading them over the next couple of days.
The weekend before DomainFest we were having a drink in the lobby of the hotel when we got to see several stars including John Travolta.

"stars" annoy me.
he's famous for only a few things; acting, dancing, and scientology. I really don't think either of those should be enough to earn a person a higher status in society (and enough money to have his own private airport...) than, say, the average hard-working bar-tender.
don't get me started on scientology.

He didn't try to convert me and was very polite and graceful in dealing with the swarm of fans outside the hotel.
I don't quite follow your line of thinking in relation to his wealth. He's successful, so if he wants to spend the money he has earned on private planes surely that's his choice?

it's not that rich people should not own airports. I just think it's amazing that a storyteller (not even a storyteller - an actor in a story) can earn that much in the first place.
maybe it's jealousy on my part.
Well he's not the only well paid person in Hollywood :)
Of course there are a lot of people who earn huge amounts of money. Take a look at the CEOs of the fortune 500 companies!
